Puma is a single-origin coffee from Apaneca–Ilamatepec, El Salvador, produced by Andrés Salaverria at Finca San Felipe. The lot is Catuaí variety, grown at 1,200 m and processed naturally. Tasting notes highlight prune, hazelnut cream and dark chocolate with pronounced tartaric acidity and a creamy body. The coffee is presented with an espresso roast profile and is recommended for espresso, moka and French press.
Co-founded by Carlos Moral, whose coffee lineage traces back to his father Rafa's 1979 establishment of Mare Terra coffee imports, Hidden Coffee Roasters emerged from a dynasty dedicated to transforming Spain's understanding of specialty coffee. Operating from Barcelona's Les Corts neighborhood on a Giesen roaster, they represent a new generation of Spanish roasters who prioritize producer relationships and value chain transparency.
