This coffee is a blend from three farms in Nicaragua's Nueva Segovia region, located within the Natural Reserve of Serranías Dipilto-Jalapa. The blend combines Catuaí and Caturra varieties from Farm El Naranjal (4.23 hectares in Dipilto), Farm Las Naranjas (3.9 hectares in Mosonte), and Farm Los Angeles (14.09 hectares dedicated to coffee in San Fernando). The coffee undergoes washed processing with 24-36 hour fermentation, followed by a 12-day drying process on raised beds and patios. The farms employ traditional shade-growing techniques using forest species, native trees, and fruit plants, with organic fertilizers like compost and coffee pulp. The coffee is produced by Cafetos de Segovia with careful manual harvesting and meticulous quality control throughout processing.
