About This Coffee

A single origin coffee from the Heza Washing Station in Kayanza Province, Burundi. This naturally processed coffee features the classic Burundi characteristics of tea-like notes with a silky mouthfeel. Grown at exceptionally high altitude near Kibira rainforest, the coffee develops unique flavors influenced by the region's moderate climate and individual hill microclimates. The ripe, dense cherries are processed using traditional sundried natural methods at this pioneering washing station.
