About This Coffee

This coffee is sourced from the Muchagara Factory in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, located on the slopes of Mount Kenya at an altitude of 1600-1800 meters. Produced by 1,200-1,700 smallholder farmers belonging to the Baragwi Farmers’ Cooperative Society, this coffee features the SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. It is processed using a traditional washed method, involving fermentation and drying on raised African beds.
