This decaffeinated coffee originates from Timaná, Huila, Colombia, produced by ASOMUJER, an association of women producers founded in 2007 that has grown from 10 to 75 women members. The coffee is grown at altitudes between 1,400-2,000 meters and consists of Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia varieties. It is washed processed and decaffeinated using the EA (ethyl acetate) method with sugar cane. The cup profile is mild and silky with flavor notes of baked apple, brown sugar, toasted almond, cane sugar, cooked stone fruits, and almond. The coffee is imported by Café Imports.
