Grown by smallholder farmers in the Chikmagalur District of Karnataka, this Selection 795 is washed and roasted to a medium-dark level that brings out its chocolatey richness. The cup leans into cocoa and hazelnut, with a marzipan sweetness and low acidity that works well in espresso and milk drinks. The coffee is cultivated sustainably, reflecting the care of the producers in one of India's historic coffee-growing regions.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
