Lights Out Decaf is a decaffeinated coffee from the San Agustín community in Huila, Colombia, produced as a community lot and decaffeinated in Colombia. It was processed using the ethyl acetate (EA) decaffeination method at Descafecol. The coffee is described as round and chocolatey with deep sweetness and tasting notes of brown sugar, dried fruit, and walnut; the roast is developed to work for both filter and espresso.
Founded 2007 by engineers-turned-roasters in Calgary, Phil & Sebastian sources exceptional single-origin beans via direct-trade, roasts meticulously in-house, and operates several cafés.
