This coffee is a San Isidro 39 variety from the Las Lajas micro mill in the Central Valley region of Costa Rica, grown at an altitude of 1700 meters. Produced by Francisca and Oscar Chacon, this coffee undergoes a signature Black Diamond natural process, where hand-picked cherries are sun-dried in a greenhouse for 22–30 days and rested for 60 days. The resulting cup is syrupy and bold, featuring flavor notes of milk chocolate, dried prunes, and walnuts.
