Kenya: Kamathura AB is a washed coffee from Nyeri, Kenya grown at 1,500-2,000 meters altitude. It includes varietals SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian. The coffee is characterized by a light roast with a flavor profile of white grape brightness, tart cranberry acidity, and sweetness of crème brûlée.
The first coffee roaster in Cambridge, Broadsheet opened in 2017 , with owner Aaron McDougall, a finalist at the US Roasting Championship, shifting into coffee from a previous careerin banking. Aaron is an Arabica Q-Grader and sources exceptional coffees from around the world that range from comforting to experimental and eye-opening.
