This coffee is a Natural-processed Ethiopian single-origin from the Shakiso area in Guji. It is grown at high elevation by farmers around the Tero Washing Station, and is offered as a light-roast bean with flavor notes of Strawberry, Lemon, and Vanilla.
Golden State Coffee was founded in 2012 as a roasting operation in Southern California, spending its first seven years focused on distribution before opening a location in Placentia, Orange County, in 2019. The roastery is led by Eric Scott, who built the business on specialty grade sourcing and a philosophy that supports both traditional and progressive approaches to coffee preparation. Golden State also offers consulting services, equipment supply, and water filtration guidance, extending its expertise to the broader coffee community.
