About This Coffee

This coffee is sourced from the Limu Kossa region of Ethiopia, where it is grown under natural forest canopies at high altitude. Produced by Haider Abamecha, this lot is processed using the natural method. The coffee is roasted to a darker level to emphasize rich dark cocoa notes, complemented by subtle stone fruit flavors, specifically black cherry, and roasted hazelnut.

Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
