This washed Ethiopian coffee displays elegant florals and tea notes, complemented by fruity accents such as orange stone fruit and red berries. Harvested by smallholder producers in the area, the coffee goes through a dry fermentation step for about four days, is washed to remove mucilage, and is dried for around two weeks on raised beds.

Drip Roasters is a Bern-based specialty coffee roastery run by brothers Dennys and Fabian. They'd been roasting for two years before opening their café on Eigerplatz in 2020. All their coffees are single origins. The lineup is balanced, from beans that are roasted a shade darker for broader appeal, to special lots that sit on the lighter end. The selection shifts depending on the season, and especially after origin visits, but is always fully traceable.
