Featuring the Ethiopian Heirloom variety, the beans are naturally processed, dried in the sun for 2-4 weeks with regular turning, then rested for approximately one month to develop flavor complexity. Nylon Coffee Roasters

Nylon Coffee Roasters was founded in 2010 by husband and wife Dennis Tang and Jia Min Lee, who named the venture after New York and London, the two cities where they had built previous careers in IT and banking. The micro roastery opened its doors in May 2012 at Everton Park, a quiet public housing estate that has since become a pilgrimage spot for Singapore's specialty coffee community. Dennis and Jia Min roast on a Probat UG15 visible through glass in a room they call The Maillard Project, and serve coffee on a restored two group La Marzocco GS/2 that was found in Seattle and refurbished in Hong Kong. A member of 1% for the Planet and World Coffee Research, Nylon signed the Transparency Pledge in 2022 and sources beans seasonally, stocking only what is fresh and in harvest.
