Klatch Coffee

About This Coffee

Wake up to a cup of pure delight with our El Salvador Las Mercedes La Avila Icatu Honey! This exceptional coffee brings together the perfect balance of sweet and tart citrus, featuring juicy lemon verbena, sweet tangerine and a smooth, deep dark honey finish. Each sip delivers a bright, juicy mouthfeel with a lingering sweet aftertaste that keeps you coming back for more. What makes this Honey Processed coffee truly special? It comes from the La Avila lot, where the Icatu varietal thrives in a unique micro-climate. Nestled under natural shade and enriched by red clay soil, this terrain enhances the coffee’s natural sweetness, making every cup bold, vibrant, and unforgettable. Start your day with a coffee that’s as dynamic and flavorful as you are! The world of coffee is interconnected. Klatch Coffee's founder, Roastmaster, and CFO, Mike, makes annual visits to our farms, and enjoys sharing the history of coffee, a journey that begins long before it makes its way to our roasters._

Klatch Coffee

Klatch Coffee was founded in 1993 by Mike Perry in Upland, California, and has grown from a single retail location into one of Southern California's most recognized specialty roasters. The company practices direct trade, buying from growers and paying two to three times the Fair Trade minimum based on cup quality, with a portion of each pound going to community programs in producing regions. In 2007, Klatch won the World's Best Espresso title, and the company holds Rainforest Alliance certification alongside organic and fair trade options. Over 80 percent of its coffees reviewed by Coffee Review have scored 90 points or above. More than thirty years in, Klatch remains family owned and continues to operate multiple café locations across Southern California.
