El Salvador Finca Las Brumas is a washed Bourbon coffee from the Sonsonate / Apaneca-Ilamatepec area, grown at 1500 masl. Tasting notes highlight almonds, sparkling citrus, cane sugar, and chocolate. It is offered in both filter and espresso roasts—filter roast emphasizes bright, sparkling acidity while the espresso roast features extended Maillard development for reduced acidity and increased sweetness.
Yew Meng, an engineer by training, began roasting in 2016 and opened Reframe Coffee Roasters in Penang's industrial Bayan Lepas district as a nano-roastery. In 2019, Yew Meng won the International Coffee Roast Master Championship Malaysia. His engineering background shows in the approach: methodical sourcing, controlled variables, obsessive attention to roast development. Origins rotate seasonally with filter brewing positioned as the primary method for experiencing single-origin character.
