About This Coffee

This coffee is from the Mapache Estate in the Apaneca Ilamatepec region of El Salvador, near the Santa Ana volcano. Grown at 1,200 to 1,400 meters elevation, the estate comprises six farms. The coffee is a single-origin blend of Bourbon, Pacas, and Pacamara varieties, with Pacas and Pacamara being varieties native to El Salvador. The flavor profile features fruit-filled and fresh notes with a sweet milk chocolate finish and subtle cinnamon notes. Jaguar Coffee

Jaguar Coffee positions itself as a celebration of Latin American coffee heritage, and was founded by Keyton and Greg, two brothers. Their mission centers on carrying "the pride and beauty of Latin American heritage" through balanced, clean roasts that emphasize sweet natural flavors born from Latin American soil. Their approach focuses on showcasing the authentic character of Latin American terroir through careful roasting that preserves the inherent sweetness and complexity of beans sourced from their heritage regions. Operating with three distinct ranges—Clásico for everyday moments, Último for elevated experiences, and Exótico for special occasions—they've created a thoughtful curation system that honors both accessibility and exclusivity while maintaining their core philosophy that "at Jaguar we are all family, thanks to the connection that a simple cup of coffee can bring."
