This decaffeinated coffee is from the Rukira Factory in Kenya, founded in 1979 and home to the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society. The coffee is produced by approximately 600 small-holder farmers who contribute around 30kg per farmer each harvest. The coffee has been decaffeinated using Swiss Water's proprietary method, which retains much of the terroir. Flavor notes include lime and soft spice like cloves. The coffee is graded AB and processed using the washed method.
