This coffee is a single-origin microlot from Finca Las Flores in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia, produced by Jhoan Manuel Vergara Ayure. The lot is the Chiroso variety grown at 1750 m and processed as a pulped natural with anaerobic fermentation followed by a thermoshock step. It is 100% Arabica, roasted to a medium-dark level, and shows flavor notes of strawberry, mango, and lychee.
While the Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur was officially founded in 2006, the coffee passion of Elisabeth and Willy Andraschko began back in 1979 when they established a Viennese coffee house in Berlin, with Willy notably joining the world-famous Café Einstein and shaking up the scene. For over twenty years, this specialty coffee manufactory has supplied coffee lovers, luxury hotels, and starred restaurants with exceptional coffee, earning recognition far beyond Berlin's city and national borders.
