Chelchele Natural is a single-origin Natural from the Chelchele Washing Station in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The coffee is Heirloom (100% Arabica), dried whole on raised beds for 15–25 days, and offers pronounced fruit-forward sweetness with notes of strawberry, stone fruit and melon, a syrupy, creamy mouthfeel and a long, aromatic finish. Roasted for espresso to deliver a full-bodied, aromatic cup.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
