BEAUTIFUL DARK - Espresso Blend

BEAUTIFUL DARK - Espresso Blend

Schoen Kaffee

About This Coffee

The Espresso Test Winner - Crema Issue 01/2023 First of all... this espresso blend isn't really that dark, but 'nice medium' sounds stupid ;) In addition, the Schön Dunkel is a classic espresso blend with 10% Robusta / Canephora content and the counterpart to our ' Schön Hell '. Our Beautiful Dark_consists of 90% Brazilian Arabica Natural and 10% Mexican Canephora / Robusta. We taste lots of nuts and dark chocolate as well as nougat , accompanied by dried fruit and a little cane sugar . The Robusta content gives the espresso a full body and little acidity . Overall, a very well-rounded, uncomplicated espresso with a lovely sweetness and soft mouthfeel, reminiscent of grape and nut chocolate. Also tastes delicious with milk and oat. Very good all-rounder ! We recommend this espresso blend for preparation in portafilters, fully automatic machines and stovetop jugs. 90% Sitio Boa Vista - Brazil - Natural - Arabica 10% Finca Fulda - Mexico - Washed - Robusta Flavours: hazelnut, chocolate, nougat, cane sugar, dried fruit Body: creamy Here you can order the test-winning espresso beans online :)

Schoen Kaffee

The Schön family moved from Munich to the village of Burgebrach near Bamberg in 2016, founding their specialty roastery the following year to realize a long held dream. They roast on a Probat P05 III with batch sizes ranging from three to six kilograms, sourcing all green coffee through small importers rather than wholesalers or middlemen, and only accepting beans that meet specialty cupping score standards. Transparency is central to their identity: as members of The Pledge, they publish purchasing prices and quantities on their website, inviting scrutiny of their sourcing ethics. Their packaging reflects the same values, using ecological Öko Line materials from the Ströbel company, crafted in Germany from kraft paper without aluminum. Schön Kaffee roasts several times a week with a philosophy of preserving the natural aromas of each bean, recommending consumption within two months of the roast date for optimal flavor.
