About This Coffee

This coffee is a washed Kenyan origin from Kamagogo washing station, Kagumoini area, Murang’a region. It is produced by the Kiru cooperative, which operates several washing stations and supports around 3,500 smallholder farmers. The Kamagogo station processes coffee beans manually at the station and coordinates payments and farmer support. The coffee grows at about 1,800 meters above sea level in volcanic, mineral-rich soils with seasonal rainfall around 1,200 mm and cool temperatures between 13–24 °C.
