This washed Caturra is produced by smallholder families of the Indigenous Inga community of Aponte, Nariño, at approximately 2,150 meters above sea level. The high-altitude environment, cool temperatures, and mineral-rich volcanic soils support slow cherry maturation, healthy cultivation, and exceptionally sweet, complex coffees. Expect notes of brown sugar, yellow plum, and apple. This coffee represents a transition from illicit crops to specialty coffee, supporting sustainable land use and economic opportunities for the Inga community.
