Suuapinga

Germany

Suuapinga was founded in 2021 in Munich by Peter Baumann, Lucas Wiltfang, and Emanuel Etzersdorfer, three friends from the catering and food service industry who shared a vision for exceptional coffee. The name dates back to 782 and is the earliest documented word for what is now the Schwabing district, tying the brand to the local heritage of its first location. The roastery works exclusively with 100% Arabica beans sourced through trusted partners, with a rotating selection of single origins from Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Kenya, and Brazil alongside a signature blend of Brazilian Samambaia and Ethiopian Bombe. Since opening on Herzogstrasse in June 2021, the company has expanded to six locations across Munich, each combining specialty coffee with an artisan sourdough bakery. Weekend barista courses round out the offering, reflecting the founders' commitment to building coffee culture in their city.
