Phin Noir is a dark roast coffee from Vietnam's Lam Dong province. The beans are washed and slow-dried at high elevation, featuring flavor notes of crystal malt, dried fig spread, and melon medley. This coffee offers layered sweetness and smooth structure, suitable for slow sips and phin brews.
Jaho Coffee Roasters was founded in 2005 by Anil Mezini, with its roastery based in Salem, Massachusetts. The company has grown to operate nine locations across the greater Boston area and Tokyo, Japan, making it one of the few American specialty roasters with a direct international retail presence. Jaho roasts small lot single origins and signature blends in small batches, sourcing from exclusive farms worldwide. The roastery is Fair Trade Certified and emphasizes sustainable sourcing practices as part of what it calls The Jaho Promise. The expansion into Tokyo reflects a belief that the same attention to craft and sourcing resonates across cultures.
