Uganda Kisoro Estate Anaerobic Natural

Portrait Coffee

About This Coffee

This microlot is sourced from the Kisoro Estate in the volcanic Kigezi Highlands of southwestern Uganda, grown at an altitude of 1800 meters. The coffee is an Anaerobic Natural process, where freshly harvested cherries are fermented in sealed containers before drying. This method enhances fruit intensity and acidity. The flavor profile features deep layers of chocolate and caramel, complemented by complex notes of cooked red grape and dried cranberry. This coffee is recognized for its quality and was used in the 2025 Uganda Barista Championship.
