This single-origin coffee is sourced from the Sipi region on the slopes of Mount Elgon in Uganda, grown at an altitude of 2,000 to 2,300 meters. It is a natural-processed coffee featuring the Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28 varieties. The flavor profile is bright and fruit-forward, characterized by notes of strawberry, blueberry, cream, and vanilla, with a creamy body and a finish of toffee, cacao, and milk chocolate. It is particularly well-suited for filter brewing methods.
Clifftop Coffee Roasters is a Portugal-based specialty roaster that sources single-origin coffee seasonally and ships it freshly roasted across Europe. It started in 2021 with coffee roasted on a balcony overlooking the sea and sold at a local market, then grew into a nano-roastery. The operation has scaled up since, with a bigger roaster, and a dedicated warehouse. Green coffee is sourced seasonally and roasted for balance and consistency, backed by quality control and regular cupping, across a rotating lineup that has recently included Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Rwanda.
