Sweet Habit Espresso is an espresso roast made from Costa Rica coffee grown in the Santa Rosa area of Tarrazú, from the La Obediencia farm managed by a father-and-son team. The roast profile is focused on sweetness, producing a super-smooth espresso with tasting notes of toffee, milk chocolate, and raisin. It delivers a sweet, rounded cup with chocolatey sweetness and dried-fruit accents.
Founded 2007 by engineers-turned-roasters in Calgary, Phil & Sebastian sources exceptional single-origin beans via direct-trade, roasts meticulously in-house, and operates several cafés.
