Smooth Operator is a filter coffee from Costa Rica (Santa Rosa region of Tarrazu) sourced from the La Obediencia family farm by producers Macho & Kevin. The coffee is chocolate-forward with caramel sweetness and almond roundness, offering tasting notes of toffee, dark chocolate and toasted almond. Sold as whole bean and roasted for filter brewing, it is balanced and easy-drinking.
Founded 2007 by engineers-turned-roasters in Calgary, Phil & Sebastian sources exceptional single-origin beans via direct-trade, roasts meticulously in-house, and operates several cafés.
