About This Coffee

This Rwandan coffee is produced by Muraho Trading Co., run by brothers Gaudam and Carthick Anbalagan. Sourced from the Nyabihu region at 2000 meters altitude, it features Bourbon variety processed using washed method. The cup is driven by ripe fruit with complex fruit notes backed up by a creamy body. Muraho Trading Co. was the first to produce and export naturally processed coffees from Rwanda in 2016 and the first to export varietals other than Bourbon in 2023.

Founded in Aarhus in 2012 and beginning roasting in 2013, La Cabra has grown from a small shop far from the city center into a globally recognized coffee company with locations in Copenhagen, New York, Bangkok, and Oman. Their novel single roast philosophy means each coffee gets one carefully chosen profile that best showcases its unique character, an approach that has led to transparent and memorable coffee experiences. They roast lighter to emphasize origin specific flavors and currently serve subscribers in over 60 countries. The roastery's new Copenhagen Nordhavn facility combines industrial heritage with modern production.
