Secret Affair 2.0 is a bright, fruit-forward blend combining Ethiopian and Colombian coffees with a small peach co-ferment. Origins include Yirgacheffe (Ethiopia), Huila and Quindío (Colombia). The coffee is processed as Washed and Co‑Ferment, and the blend is composed of Ethiopian heirlooms, Colombian varieties, and Caturra. Roast level is Light‑Medium with a smooth, refined body and tasting notes of floral, peach, citrus, and tea‑like character.
Travas Clifton founded Modcup in 2013 and has built its reputation on experimental processing. Features include anaerobic fermentation, thermal shock washing, and co-fermentation with ingredients like dehydrated fruits or hops. These techniques produce intensely fruity, floral coffees that sit firmly on the adventurous end of specialty.
