This single-origin coffee is produced by Raul Rodriguez at Finca Santa Lucia, located in the village of Tres Pinos, Comayagua, Honduras. Grown at an altitude of 1650 meters in the Montaña de La Choca mountain reserve, this coffee benefits from rich clay soil and a distinct climate. The beans are processed using the natural method. The flavor profile features notes of blueberry cake, brown sugar, and chocolate.
Evan Inatome and his brother in law Winston Justice, a former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle, founded Elixr Coffee in 2010 on Walnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. The roastery now operates seven locations across Philadelphia, State College, Nashville, and Philadelphia International Airport's Terminal B. Elixr specializes in lighter roasted coffees with a focus on sourcing quality, and holds Fair Trade and Organic certifications. The team's competitive record includes a second place finish at the 2018 U.S. Barista Championship and multiple top ten finishes at U.S. Roasting Championship events.
