This coffee is sourced from the foothills of Uganda's Rwenzori Mountains, known as the Mountains of the Moon. Grown in volcanic soils at high elevations, this lot undergoes an anaerobic fermentation process where cherries are sealed in barrels for four days before being dried on raised beds. The result is a vibrant coffee with vivid fruit character, layered sweetness, and exceptional clarity. Tasting notes include blackberry jam, violet, and tropical fruit.
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, this roastery is committed to sourcing and roasting the best possible coffee, fostering relationships from producer to consumer.
