About This Coffee

This espresso blend brings together two washed lots that balance fruited sweetness with caramel depth. The Peruvian component comes from 25 smallholders in Tabaconas, Cajamarca, growing Catuaí, Pache, and Catimor. The Colombian side sources from 53 small-scale farmers, most in La Plata, Huila, working with Caturra and Castillo. The 50/50 split yields a cup where stonefruit and plum sit over a smooth caramel base, with pear brightness and chocolate rounding out the profile.

Square Mile Coffee Roasters

Square Mile Coffee Roasters was founded in 2008 in London by James Hoffmann, the 2007 World Barista Champion, and Anette Moldvaer, the 2007 World Cup Tasters Champion. The roastery operates from Walthamstow in East London. Sourcing is built on long term direct relationships with producers, supported by forward buying and pre financing to ensure stability and fairness across the supply chain. As one of the first specialty coffee companies in London, Square Mile played a defining role in shaping the city's third wave coffee movement.
