Raspberry in Loop is a single-origin Arabica coffee from Chikmagalur, Karnataka, grown at an altitude of 4180 feet. This coffee features a blend of SL795 and Chandragiri varieties. It undergoes an intensive anaerobic fermentation process over three stages, followed by extended sun-drying on raised beds. The flavor profile is characterized by a rich, ripe raspberry core, complemented by notes of pineapple, mandarin, and milk chocolate. It is a heavy-bodied coffee with a crisp, sweet acidity, suitable for both espresso and filter brewing methods.
Grey Soul Coffee Roasters built its identity around pour over brewing, operating cafes in Bandra West in Mumbai and Koregaon Park in Pune with a live roasting experience center. The sourcing draws on Indian specialty arabica from Karnataka, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Odisha, processed as fermented naturals, fruit naturals, and washed lots depending on the origin. The cafes serve exclusively without additives or syrups, and the slow bar format reinforces the focus on the coffee itself. An all vegetarian menu with vegan and gluten free options and handmade stoneware accessories round out a deliberately considered offering.
