This is a Geisha variety coffee from Panama's Volcán region at 1,950 meters altitude. It undergoes a hybrid fermentation process including nitrogen maceration, natural anaerobic, and washed phases, finished with extended shade dried natural processing. The coffee has a light roast with a juicy body and features flavor notes of apricot, raspberry, coffee cherry, cotton candy, orange, blueberry, and red grape with mid-intensity acidity and balanced sweetness.
Coffea Circulor emerged from its founders' work with the United Nations environmental branch in Arendal, after witnessing coffee farmers in Kenya being paid merely $0.70/kg for green coffee. Initially roasting on a lighthouse island named Store Torungen, nowadays the company operates onshore as a multi-award winning producer, roaster, and research lab.
