About This Coffee

This coffee is a natural-processed Arabica from the Mt. Elgon region of Uganda, grown at altitudes between 1400 and 2000 meters. It is produced by The Coffee Yards and community stations working with approximately 300 farmers. The coffee features a unique aerobic/oxidized natural process with an extended drip phase, involving open-air fermentation and slow drying on raised beds. The flavor profile includes notes of guava jam, port wine, blackberry, and dark chocolate. This is a light roast coffee.

The roastery uses shared time on roasting equipment at partner facility Xanadu Coffee while conducting all roasting in house, with Eric Hervey overseeing bean selection and roasting.
