A blend of coffees from Brazil (Minas Gerais) and Ethiopia (Gedeo) roasted for espresso. Varieties include Red Catuai, Wolisho and Dega, all processed naturally. Altitudes are around 1200 m (Brazil) and 2000–2300 m (Ethiopia). Tasting notes highlight chocolate, sweet and jammy characteristics, presenting a rich, syrupy profile suited to espresso preparations.
Man Versus Machine is a Munich based specialty-coffee roastery founded in 2014 by Marco and Cornelia Mehrwald, roasting on site and operating several cafes in the city. The team favors light–to–medium, balanced and sweet roast profiles and offers omni profiles suitable for both espresso and filter brewing. Man Versus Machine sources from specialty suppliers and at times works with the likes of Nordic Approach to keep a rotating lineup of single-origin lots and blends. Some of their coffees have been transported sustainably by sail.
