About This Coffee

Finca Escondida's Laurina Washed coffee comes from the Lipululo region of northern Nicaragua at 1,100 meters altitude. Laurina, a natural Bourbon mutation, is naturally low in caffeine (approximately 50% less than standard Arabica) and features an elongated, pointed bean shape. The coffee is hand-picked at peak ripeness and processed via washed fermentation with controlled temperature and time, followed by slow drying on raised beds. Tasting notes include bright orange peel, dark plum sweetness, caramel warmth, hazelnut syrup, toffee, and chocolate milk with a roasted barley tea finish.
