This washed community microlot from Oaxaca is a blend of Marcellesa, Oro Azteca, and Typica coffees produced by 9 Zapotec smallholders in Santa Cruz de Ozolotepec and surrounding localidades in the Sierra Sur. The beans are grown at 1,400–1,700 meters above sea level and are sold as a 300 g bag for espresso preparation, with tasting notes including fig, hazelnut, and caramel.
Founded in 2009 by Kaelin McCowan in a back alley in Dundas, Ontario, Detour Coffee Roasters was born from a passion for the craft. They started with a journey across the continent to pick up their first roaster and have since grown into a beloved brand known for their fun, approachable, and high-quality "friendly coffee".
