This single origin coffee is grown in the remote, forested highlands of Oaxaca’s Sierra Sur, Mexico, at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,700 meters. Produced by the Garcia Luna family and a collective of smallholder Zapotec farmers, this coffee features the Pluma Hidalgo variety, a rare Typica mutation. It is a washed process coffee roasted to a medium level. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of milk chocolate, Meyer lemon, plum, cashew, cherry, and chamomile, offering a juicy body and gentle floral acidity.
