This blend draws on coffees from India, Brazil and Guatemala, with the Indian Malabar component monsooned to develop its distinctive character. Monsooning exposes the beans to humid monsoon winds, swelling them and mellowing their acidity, which gives the blend a soft, low-toned foundation. Brazil and Guatemala add body and balance, while the process shapes the cup toward nectarine, honey and hazelnut.
While the Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur was officially founded in 2006, the coffee passion of Elisabeth and Willy Andraschko began back in 1979 when they established a Viennese coffee house in Berlin, with Willy notably joining the world-famous Café Einstein and shaking up the scene. For over twenty years, this specialty coffee manufactory has supplied coffee lovers, luxury hotels, and starred restaurants with exceptional coffee, earning recognition far beyond Berlin's city and national borders.
