Kion Clean Coffee

Augusto Carneiro, a Brazilian native, founded Nossa Familia Coffee in Portland, Oregon in 2004 after leaving an engineering career to pursue his passion for coffee. His familys connection to coffee cultivation runs deep: great grandfather and three brothers planted the familys first crop in Brazils highlands in 1890, establishing a legacy that spans over a century. The roastery operates Loring roasters and became Oregons first certified B Corp coffee roaster in 2016, achieving a B Impact score of 90.2, and holds Certified Organic certification by Oregon Tilth. Selection as a finalist for Roast Magazines 2020 Roaster of the Year reflects the roasterys commitment to quality, sustainability, and positive business practices.
