A washed coffee from the Kaiguri factory, part of the Mutheka Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS) in Nyeri county, Kenya. Kaiguri is situated in the Tetu sub-county, near the Aberdare mountain range and Mt. Kenya, benefiting from high-elevation conditions, mineral-rich volcanic soils, and cold nighttime temperatures. The cooperative comprises nearly 5,000 individual smallholder farmers. Processing involves hand-sorting, depulping, 24-hour water fermentation, and drying on raised beds for 2–3 weeks. Flavor notes include light florals, melon, white wine, and lemon verbena.
