This single-origin coffee comes from Haner Wanjiku Mukunga's farm in Gatundu, Kiambu, located next to Nairobi County at high altitude. The coffee trees were planted in the 1970s, with 90% SL-28 variety and 10% Ruiru-11. The farm established its own washing station in 1998, using careful hand-picking methods. Coffee cherries are washed, sun-dried, and milled. The harvest occurs in two phases: main harvest from October to January and early harvest from April to June. The high altitude, abundant rainfall, and rich soil produce coffee with vibrant fruitiness and bright acidity.
