This coffee is produced by members of the Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society in Nyeri, Kenya. It is grown between 1,600 and 1,900 meters and processed using a traditional washed method to emphasize acidity and structure.

Their approach is rooted in direct trade partnerships through their Farmlevel Initiative, which emphasizes paying premiums for quality and investing in coffee-producing communities. They roast in small batches on vintage Probat roasters, aiming to craft a future for coffee that is equitable and innovative.
