Cecilia Wanjiku Haniel and a network of neighboring smallholders in Kirinyaga grow SL-28 trees that date back to the 1960s. The lot undergoes dry fermentation before washing and slow drying on raised beds, a processing approach that preserves the variety's inherent brightness and amplifies its fruit-forward character. The cup delivers concentrated citrus and stone fruit: passion fruit, nectarine, red grapefruit, and tangerine.
