This coffee comes from Endebess Estate in Kenya's northern Rift Valley at the foot of Mount Elgon, grown at 1750-1950 meters above sea level. The estate is managed by Kaitet Tea Plantations and run by the D'Ollier family. The varieties include Batian, Ruiru-11, SL-28, and SL-34. This lot is naturally processed and sun-dried slowly on raised beds, rotated throughout the day to develop clarity and sweetness. It features notes of cooked grapefruit, bergamot, and honey with a full body and fruit-forward character.
