About This Coffee

This coffee is from Finca Himalaya in Apaneca, El Salvador, produced by Mauricio Salaverria at 1550 meters altitude. The Marsellesa variety undergoes anaerobic processing, with whole cherries fermented in barrels before being dried on raised beds. The cup features sweet tropical fruit and gentle funky character, with notes of mango, strawberry, and grape soda, balanced juicy acidity, and a finish with hints of caramel and vanilla. Finca Himalaya is one of the first specialty coffee farms in El Salvador and has won multiple Cup of Excellence awards.
