This Ethiopian coffee is from the Odakko Project at the Yaye Washing Station, sourced from 50 smallholder producers in the villages of Yaye and Chericho at elevations of 2150-2300 meters. The 74518 variety was washed-processed with meticulous sorting (95% full-ripe, 5% overripe cherries) and dried on raised beds over 28 days to reach 12% moisture content. The coffee offers flavor notes of jammy red fruit, dark chocolate, red wine acidity, and mild sugary sweetness.

Lineage Coffee Roasting was founded in January 2012 by Jarrett and Justine Johnson in Orlando, Florida. The couple started with a retrofitted grill and an ice cream motor powering a 3 kilogram roaster, and within months had upgraded and begun building a reputation for meticulous small lot roasting. By 2015 they were traveling to Guatemala and Colombia to establish direct trade relationships, later expanding those connections into Kenya and Ethiopia. Today Lineage operates three café locations across Orlando, cups and dials in every coffee served, and runs a wholesale program alongside a roasting academy. The hands on approach that began with a homemade setup continues to define the company's identity more than a decade later.
