Repetition Coffee

Amy Pope founded Repetition Coffee in 2014 out of her garage in Lawrence, Kansas, after spending a decade living and working abroad in Japan, Spain, Türkiye, and France. That international perspective, combined with a master's degree in international relations focused on trade, shapes how she approaches sourcing: directly from ethical producers, with a particular focus on farms and cooperatives owned and run by women. The roastery now operates from a 4,500 square foot facility powered entirely by solar panels, with production running on a Diedrich IR 12 roaster. Repetition earned a bronze medal at the North American Golden Bean Competition and a 2019 Diedrich Roasters Scholarship from the Coffee Roasters Guild. The name says it all: quality comes from doing the work again and again.
